Kaya ko to จริงๆ ☺

Hello, everyone! Your favorite sister missionary is back! (Haha, that's for my family)

So It has been long since I last emailed. We had stake and zone conferences last week and we were blessed to have Elder Muers of the Seventy with us..  He is amazing! He focused more on ministering and what it really means. We had a special meeting with him (just for missionaries) and talked about our investigators. We volunteered to talk about our investigator ต๋อย. Sister Peterson and I had the chance to role play with President and Sister Johnson too. I'll say I was a kinda nervous but it was so fun and I'll miss the Johnsons so much. In zone conference, we were asked the question: Why do we do what we do?

I am reminded of my purpose as a missionary, a servant of the Lord. Sometimes, LOVE is just one of the most used words. We can say we love a book, we love a view, or we love something. But to say We LOVE the Lord is something different. It's something that we show, something that we do. I know that I am a missionary because of my love for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. And to help in this LABOR OF LOVE  is an opportunity to show my love for Them and to my brothers and sisters. Definitely, this is not the only way to show our love for the Lord. We have small and simple things too. That is a challenge for each and every one of us.

We'll have a different Mission President next transfer so that's also something to look forward to.

For this email, I just want to talk about our investigator  แม่ นก (nok). We've been teaching her for a month now and I am just really so proud of her. I love her so much! She's a mom of a member here in Mahasarakham. To describe her, I must say she's very buddhist. I cannot count the number of statues she has in her home. At her home, she has a room full of statues. She always closes the door to that room whenever we visit her but I already saw it before. Hehe. Last week, we felt like we should really teach the 10 Commandments. There was no member who was available to teach with us so we just went by ourselves and taught her. She was amazing. When we were talking about having only one God and not worshiping statues... I can see that she knows what she has to do. And why she should make sufficient changes in her life. She has so much faith even though she doesnt know a lot of stuff yet about the gospel. She removed her necklace right at that very moment. The spirit was so strong! I love her and she really showed an example of faith. Also, she love praying so much. Last time, she prayed for her daughter- that She hopes she'll obey more. It was so funny because her daughter is there. So I really hope she'll start obeying her mom hehehe

I want to share a quote too, btw, from President Ezra Taft Benson. He said,
"If we do not feel like praying, then we should pray until we feel like praying."
I just love that so much. Some of the people I meet say they don't have time to pray and that is just really sad. Heavenly Father loves us so much and I am 100% sure He will always want to hear feelings and thoughts. So, my challenge for us this week is to pray! ❤ with real intent! I know that if we do this, We'll feel closer to our Heavenly Father. Our thoughts and actions will be according to His will too.

Love you all!
